ROAD CONSTRUCTION COMPANY “VIA” is a team of like-minded/high-class engineers, professionals, which established itself on the Latvian market in the autumn of 1991.
Today it has developed into a strong organization, whose core business is the construction of roads, streets, squares, external water and sewerage networks, production of asphalt concrete, and the extraction of minerals from the company’s quarries.
Another area of activity of SIA “VIA” is stone processing. We are proud to say that we are the leading stone processors in Latvia, both in terms of quality and execution of complex projects
The company has been established for 30 years, during which time it has continued to grow and develop with a team of professionals whose contribution is the basis for new challenges, experiences, and achievements. From the very beginning, the company’s priority has been the interaction of experience, knowledge and new technologies, qualified specialists, a rich technical base, a responsible attitude, productive cooperation, and high standards in the execution of work. SIA “VIA” has implemented and certified a quality management system following the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015. The company’s compliance with the standard confirms that SIA “VIA” cares about the quality of its services and products, maintaining and improving the quality management system, ensuring the planning, implementation, and evaluation of company processes, thus promoting and developing the competitiveness of the company, as well as the systematic implementation of regulated requirements.

The company has developed, documented, implemented, maintained, and is continuously improving its occupational health, and safety management system following the requirements and recommendations of the international standard ISO 45001:2018, as well as the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia.
Following the requirements of ISO 45001:2018 and the company’s occupational health and safety policy, the company aims to provide employees with a safe and healthy working environment, to promote safe workplaces, and to ensure the sustainability of employee health and workability, thereby achieving high quality and safe work performance, employee satisfaction, and an increase in the company’s competitiveness.
The occupational health and safety system covers all departments, all core business processes, and the company’s infrastructure to ensure that a safe working environment is created and systematically improved in the company’s scope of activity: road construction, water supply, and sewerage network construction.

The environmental management system of SIA “VIA” has been established following the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001:2015 Environmental management systems. The purpose of implementing the environmental management system in the company is to reduce and manage the impact of the company’s activities on the environment, to promote the company as environmentally friendly. The Environmental Policy is a statement of the organization’s intentions and principles concerning overall environmental performance, providing a framework for action and environmental goals and objectives.
