Production of mineral materials

To enhance the company’s competitiveness in the road construction sector, SIA “VIA” is engaged in quarry development.

During its existence, the company has opened several quarries for the extraction of sand and gravel, as well as for the production of dolomite and gravel crushed stone.

Currently, the company produces and extracts minerals in two quarries (Jaundutkas quarry in Ropazi Municipality and Umuli quarry in Kuldiga Municipality).

SIA “VIA” has been operating the Jaundutkas dolomite quarry since 2013. The quarry produces minerals for the construction of roads, streets, and squares, as well as raw materials for the production of asphalt concrete and concrete.

Umuli quarry

SIA “VIA” has been operating the Umuli gravel quarry since 2017. The quarry produces aggregates for the construction of roads, streets, and squares, as well as raw materials for the production of asphalt concrete.
